Here are some easy ways that can help you solve Samsung BIOS hard drive password stuck problem.
Restore your computer to peak performance in minutes!
While the operating system password determines whether you can log in after the computer starts, and the new BIOS password determines whether you must start the computer, the hard drive password controls access to the hard drive itself. you need to enter the hard disk password.

When I accessed the Phoenix BIOS to set passwords, I was able to set both the supervisor password and the user power-on password, but the specific hard drive password was described as “frozen” and the BIOS would not allow me to access Enter new password. The netbook is working fine. Super-collected guides or reviews?
I just looked at this on my NC10 and every initial field was described as “Clear”.
Set each password in order (Supervisor, User and HDD) and the three main passwords are now described as “Set”.
By the way, my BIOS version is 04CA. If you need to update your BIOS (or other Samsung computer system, firmware, etc.), you can download the latest versions of most manuals, drivers, software, and firmware from the SamsungPC website.
At 11:38 a.m., the hard drive password was frozen because users performed a hot boot (reboot) using “reboot” in Windows.
Hard disk password can only be set during cold boot -> NC10 must be turned off, then boot, enter bios, bios password function may be enabled.16, < /p>

Thanks to TCMuffin and Don_Audio.
After reading TCMuffin, I realized that my BIOS needs to be updated from 03CA, it is possible from 04CA, but the only “problem” left for me was with the Frozen Password Uniform HDD after aboutupdates. “Don-Audio” is a “solution” to the issue: getting rid of suffering!
Thanks, Don_Audio, I didn’t get 🙂
How do I remove a password from a hard drive that is frozen?
Try entering the BIOS, go to any last tab “Save and Exit” and just select “Load Defaults”, press F10 and select “Save and Exit”. Enter BIOS again and check the mua password, if it’s stuck, clear it and press F10, save and exit. Check again.

When I went into the Phoenix BIOS to set passwords, I was able to set the supervisor with the user password on power up, but the actual hard drive password was written in the Frozen form, and the BIOS didn’t. t allow me to have access to enter the fabulous password. The netbook is working again. Any recommendations or comments you can take?
I just tried this on my NC10 and initially each field was called “Clear”.

So my bios version is 04CA. If you need a BIOS (or other Samsung software, firmware, etc.), you can download the latest manuals, drivers, software, and firmware alternatives from a specific version SamsungPC website.
A common reason for a hard drive password lock is that you have performed a pre-boot (re)boot by selecting Restart Windows.
You will only configure the hard disk when you think about account information -> NC10 must be turned off, start it, enter the BIOS, the “BIOS details” function will be unlocked.
After reading TCMuffin, I realized that my BIOS needed to be updated from 03CA to 04CA, but I still had the same Frozen Password HDD related “problem” even after posting. “Don-Audio” found my “solution”: the problem has changed!
